"If you need an honest shop then you have found THE BEST! They are fast and they get the job done without forgetting that their customers are the most important part of their business..."

I highly recommend the services and professionalism of Tru-Line directed by Bill Blatter, [who] has surrounded himself with a fantastic team. Each person who intervened in my truck (bus Ford E350) has contributed to [help] realize my wish for the Layouts of my project. They understood and perfectly equipped my mobile pet grooming as I had imagined [it], plus the installation of efficient and non-polluting materials, such as solar panels that are used to give me a clean energy autonomy as conventional generators that are...very noisy. Congratulations, and [a] big thank you!"

“I admit it, I drive a beater. Dogs, teenagers, long commute, you get the idea. I was quoted EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS! at another shop in Burbank to fix this one little problem. After 13 months the outside edge of the left front tire on my 2000 Dodge Caravan was balding. I needed a second opinion. Long story short, I was referred to John at Tru-Line by Twins body shop in Van Nuys. John squeezed me in and fixed my car for 59 bucks. He explained, so that even I could understand, what the problem was and what to look for in the future. The only sad part is that I can’t give 10 stars.”

I had an unfortunate collision in my SUV. The entire passenger side was dented and scraped, including both doors and the rear fender. Bill and his team made it a completely smooth process. They accommodated me from start to finish, first with friendly service and helping me through the insurance process (which they took over from the adjustor onward), then providing a rental car, then consistent updates about the process of the repair job when it was done! They had to buy a whole new part of the frame, then cut just the piece needed, then cut that same piece out of my vehicle and welded the new piece in its place. It was something akin to surgery. Then miraculously put it all back together, with new doors, a smooth, fresh paint that matched exactly and I couldn't tell the difference - my vehicle was new again! Great job!"

"Fast. Efficient. Gets the job done. Our trailer had problems with the front axle and a wheel. Lot of balance issues. Found Tru-Line on Yelp and conflict was fixed. Great work ethic and awesome team. Highly recommended."
Ralph H. from Granada Hills, CA, said,
“I have been taking my car and travel trailer to Bill for years. Tru-line staff is knowledgeable, honest and fairly priced. What more can you ask for??? I recently had several odd problems going on with my Tahoe…it was the alternator going in and out. I thought I was going to have to cancel my trip but they took care of it. I have taken my Tahoe to other mechanics but never feel as comfortable as I do with Bill and his crew. Tru-line's expertise and experience make the drive to their shop worth it. Glad you are back!!!”
Amy M. from Studio City, CA, said,
“I am really happy to have found these guys to do my braking system repairs and replacement. They are terrific people, seem very professional, and their prices are half of what the dealership charges for the same service. A week or two after they repaired my brake system, I started to hear a worrisome clang, so I brought the car back to find out what the problem was. They looked at the car, said they’d put in a wrong part (not dangerous), replaced it, and apologized profusely. I was very impressed that they owned their mistake and fixed it immediately. Very few service providers have the integrity to do that. Bravo, Bill and team.”
John K. from Canyon Country, CA, said,
“Wohoo, Bill is back! I found out from another shop that I needed to replace my engine, so I thought nothing other than to bring it to Tru Line, once I found out Bill was back, for a second opinion. Didn’t need a new engine after all, and my truck is running smoothly again after he was able to tell I needed an engine oil treatment for a stuck lifter. Once again there is an old school mechanic who can solve problems without only relying on computer equipment. I highly recommend that you call (818) 455-9300 for the same honest staff and service that Bill had back in the day. That quality service is back.”
Jean W. from Tujunga, CA, said,
“…This is the best place in the San Fernando Valley for automotive and Recreational Vehicle repair. During the time the business had an interim owner the work was shoddy, and attitudes were very poor. I’m so glad Truline is now back with Bill and his dedicated mechanics. He has worked on my cars and RVs, and those of many friends for over 15 years.”
Justin B. from Van Nuys, CA, said,
“These guys can fix anything…”
Richard C. from Hidden Hills, CA, said,
“It’s true, Bill is back. I have taken my cars to Tru-Line for over 20 years as a matter of course whenever I have gotten new tires. Their alignment and balancing is the best and the only thing that will protect your investment in a good set of tires. But alignment isn’t the only feature at Tru-Line. About ten years ago I realized that Bill had a used car lot on site. A key component of selling used cars is being able to breathe new life into them. I decided to start servicing my cars (generally 5-10 years old) there. The estimates are never inflated, the work is solid, the technicians friendly and willing to explain what they are doing. I know a lot about cars, but I am not a mechanic. What I look for, like most consumers, is integrity, honesty and a willingness to stand behind the work. This is a first-rate shop…”
David B. from Granada Hills, CA, said,
“I took my car (Buick Regal) to Truline after having an oil fire on my engine. I put the fire out and had it towed to the shop. I expected that it was totaled and figured they would confirm that. They told me they could fix it, and they did. I ended up paying way less than I had anticipated and the work was done quickly and well. They explained exactly what they had done to my car and showed me step by step what had gone wrong and why they had to fix certain things. I was extremely happy with them, and they were the first honest mechanics that I’ve found in years. By the way their new number is (818)455-9300. Honest guys, great work, fair prices. Highly recommended. Ask for Bill if you’re there, he’s a great guy.”
Ryan M. said,
“I went to Tru-Line with a bad muffler problem. I had backed into a curb and messed it up pretty bad. I was afraid it would cost me lots of money. Bill had his guys look at it, they determined that it would need to go to another shop. They called the shop, had me in and out the same day and even had someone take me over to drop me off and pick me up. These guys are top notch!”
Joe N. from Los Angeles, CA, said,
“I’d give 10 stars if yelp would allow for it….Great customer service, fair pricing and solid work!! What more could you ask for? Not only do they work on cars but this is the place to go if you have an RV, Food Truck or any other over-sized vehicle. Bill, John and the rest of their crew were super friendly and knowledgeable.”
Larry S. from Northridge, CA, said,
“Steve and Paulo took very good care of my trailer. They took the time to do an excellent quality job. I highly recommend Truline. Not cheap, but you get the quality that you pay for…”
David I. from Los Angeles, CA, said,
“I’m very particular about where I go with my cars for alignment. I’ve had some serious disasters at many alignments taking my drift car and my daily driver 350z for alignments with all the custom suspension control arms and settings that I require. Tru-Line was the only one in Van Nuys that nailed the alignment PERFECTLY on a 3 angle adjustable suspension system that cars do not have stock. I had taken my drift car to some shop on some shop on oxnard and hazeltine, thats across from a smog shop and shared with some muffler shop…. they setup my rear end so bad that my car began to lose traction driving in a straight line at 100+mph…. It took Tru-Line nearly 3 hours to set all the custom suspension to where it was meant to be. If you want your car aligned, you must go here. If they can align a drift track car, they can align any car. In fact, they even align I-Beam suspension which is only found on older Ford Trucks. I had done a major lift kit and wanted negative camber, a job quite close to impossible to do….. They were able to do it!!!”
